On official invitation of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Prof. Romain Glèlè Kakaï, President of AGNES governing board has participated in the Expert Workshop on Future African-German Cooperation in Education, Science and Research on 18-19 June 2019 in Berlin. During the workshop, partners and stakeholders discussed ideas for setting up an “African-German Network for Synergies in Research, Transfer, Innovation and Employability.” The objective of the planned project is to link existing African German science structures (i.e. DAAD Centres of Excellence) and to develop further capacities in the areas of academic training, research, and vocational training.
